  • Meeting with a craftsman about booking a consultation
    Please make a reservation in advance if you would like to have a meeting or consult with a craftsman directly. Basically, it will be from 15:00 to 18:00 from Monday to Saturday, but please contact us if you would like to go outside of these hours. We will respond as much as possible. If you come without a reservation, we will give priority to those who are in production or who have made a reservation, so please understand that we cannot respond properly. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. *We are closed on Sundays.
  • About sharpening frequency
    For home use, once every two months will provide sufficient sharpness. (Some say once every 3 months) It's time to sharpen when you feel that the sharpness has decreased a little. If you are not confident to sharpen by yourself, please use it. It has been very well received by everyone. We also accept products from other companies. * Scheduled from the 22nd to the end of each month. (Please deposit by the 22nd.) *For mailing, there are card payment, cash on delivery, and bank transfer. (If you pay by credit card, we will send you the URL before shipping.) *Shipping fees, cash on delivery fees, and bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the customer.
  • What is the price for customization?
    Most customers stay the same price If there is an extreme change to the normal product, the labor cost will be added. In that case, we will give you a free estimate before making it, so please do not worry.
  • About payment
    ① cash on delivery. You can pay with cash or card. * Cash-on-delivery fee is free. ②Bank transfer/postal transfer We will contact you as soon as we are ready to ship. We will ship the product after confirming payment. *Transfer fees are to be borne by the customer. ③Card payment We will send you an email with a dedicated online payment URL before the product is shipped. We accept VISA and MasterCard. *Cash-on-delivery fee will be charged for maintenance. For details, please see Payment Methods.
  • About returns/exchanges/refunds
    If you wish to return/exchange/refund the item, please return the item to us within 7 days after the item arrives. In the case of defective products, our workshop will bear the shipping costs for returns and exchanges. However, we cannot accept returns in the following cases. *Products used *Products with your name engraved on the knife/ordered products *Items damaged by the customer *Products that have lost the product label at the time of delivery Customers are responsible for the return shipping fee for non-defective products. The refund will be transferred to the customer's account after the product arrives.
  • Cancellation
    Cancellations cannot be accepted after the name has been engraved. *It is possible if it is before the name is engraved. Please contact us. If the product has been shipped, the customer will be responsible for the shipping and return shipping charges. *Transfer fees are the responsibility of the customer. Please note that ordered products cannot be canceled and cannot be returned or refunded.
  • About delivery date
    In Stock If you would like furoshiki wrapping, we will ship it within 5 business days. If you don't want furoshiki wrapping, it will be shipped within 3 business days. If you wish to engrave your name on the knife, it will be shipped within 7 to 10 business days. *For more information, please see the "Regarding name engraving (FAQ)" below. *We will contact you in advance by e-mail or phone if the delivery is delayed due to the small number of people involved in handwork. Thank you for your understanding. About out of stock and delivery of custom-made products. We will inform you of the delivery details by email or phone. *The average delivery time is 30 to 60 days due to manual work. Some products may require more than 60 days for delivery. In any case, if the item is out of stock, we will contact you by email or phone to inform you of the delivery schedule.
  • about shipping cost
    Free if you purchase a knife. Other products are 11,000 yen (including tax) and free shipping.   • Is it possible to send overseas?
    It is possible. Shipping costs vary by country. Please contact us. Cash on delivery and card payment upon delivery are not available.
  • About gifts
    It can be delivered directly to the person receiving the gift. *Please refrain from sending invoices that show the price
  • About name engraving
    You can put your name on the knife. You can also enter your favorite words. Hand-carved stamps are kanji, katakana, hiragana, and alphabets are laser engraved. If you want to engrave the name, it will be shipped within 7 to 10 business days because it is requested by a professional engraver. We will provide a service for the name engraving fee.
  • About the receipt
    When ordering, please let us know your name and request a receipt by email, fax, or phone.
  • About wrapping
    Wrapping is free. Please select the type of furoshiki from the product purchase page of web shop.
  • Precautions for use
    ・Do not use for purposes other than cooking. ・Store in a safe place out of reach of children. ・Because it is a delicate blade, please do not cut hard ingredients or fish bones with a double edge or Yanagiba other than Deba. ・Do not cut frozen food or ice, or use it for other purposes. ・After use, wash with a neutral detergent and wipe dry. ・Do not use dishwasher, dryer or bleach. ・Avoid prolonged contact with metal products as it may cause rust. ・Be careful not to subject it to shocks such as dropping it in the sink or on the floor. ・Do not apply heat such as heating the knife with fire. ・Because it is a hammered knife, we recommend maintenance with a whetstone.
